Wick: evaluate a price touch
Wick stops evaluate the underlying price crossing your stop level. They do not require a closing candle. Whether an order can be sent still depends on data freshness, branch health and broker availability.
Body: wait for a confirmed close
Body stops use a completed bar and its configured timeframe. A temporary intrabar crossing does not alone satisfy a body-close condition. Check the timeframe and data source alongside the line you draw.
Hybrid: combine two thresholds
Hybrid combines a body-close level with a separate wick threshold. It allows a plan to wait for a close at one level while responding to a larger adverse move at another. Review both levels instead of assuming the visible body line is the only trigger.
Trailing and execution price
Trailing can advance a stop in the favorable direction according to your configured distance. A trigger level is a condition on the underlying, not a guaranteed fill price for the option. The option spread, liquidity, order type and connection all affect execution.
