Terms of service

Version 2026-10-08.1

OptionTrigger — Terms of Service Version 2026-10-08.1 • Effective October 8, 2026

1. Service and operator

OptionTrigger is a personally operated software project using the OptionTrigger brand. Support, privacy requests, refund requests and legal inquiries may be sent to contact@optiontrigger.com. The service is intended for adults who are legally eligible to use it. No checkout country or state restriction is currently applied; availability of a payment page is not a determination of eligibility under local law. The project is operated by an individual from Delaware, United States; this statement does not represent incorporation in Delaware. Paid subscriptions use the project’s existing verified Hong Kong individual Stripe merchant. The payment provider displays the merchant information, price and renewal terms at checkout and on receipts. Public updates are at https://x.com/EthanJiangTrade, videos at https://www.youtube.com/@EthanJiangTrades and community discussions at https://discord.gg/NxF4gAs8th. Use email for private account, billing and privacy matters.

These Terms cover the new OptionTrigger website, account and license services, Desktop software, Chrome extension and TradingView Desktop integration. Existing-service accounts and contracts remain subject to their existing arrangements unless a separate transition is communicated and agreed. Required seller information will be made available before a paid purchase. A test account or test payment is not a real subscription or authorization for Live trading.

2. Eligibility and account responsibilities

You must be at least eighteen and legally eligible to use the software and the options services offered by your broker. Maintain control of your email, devices and broker access. Provide accurate account information and do not impersonate another user. Protect passwords, device keys, activation codes and licenses. Tell the operator if you believe your account or device has been compromised; do not send secrets in the report.

You are responsible for choosing your account, contracts, quantities and trading rules, understanding orders and positions, and monitoring your broker's actual execution. OptionTrigger supplies software, not personalized investment advice, brokerage services, custody of trading funds or a promise of returns.

3. Product scope and operating conditions

The initial supported platform is macOS with IBKR single-leg long CALL/PUT options. Free access covers DEMO and Paper within the capabilities of the release. Premium access to Live requires the corresponding valid entitlement and all account, authorization, market-data, recovery, quantity and budget checks. Buying a subscription does not remove those checks or guarantee that every feature, integration or account is available.

DEMO is a simulation; Paper uses simulated brokerage execution. Neither establishes Live performance or future profitability. Automation runs through the local Backend and depends on a functioning app, device, chart source, network, broker connection, permissions and valid market data. A closed chart, sleeping computer, interrupted license or disconnected process must not be treated as proof that positions remain protected. Broker-submitted orders may remain active after a local interruption.

4. Explicit terms and risk acknowledgment

Before registration, a new subscription checkout, authorization of a new Desktop device or enabling new trading exposure, the product asks you to explicitly confirm the current Terms of Service and Risk Disclosure. The confirmation identifies the document version and fingerprint. New versions require new confirmation; browsing or continued use does not substitute for it.

Declining or postponing does not itself cancel existing orders, terminate armed protection or close a position. Viewing existing positions, available cancellation/reduction/closing paths, account recovery, logout and management of an existing subscription remain available under their existing technical safeguards. A confirmation does not waive mandatory consumer rights. Account-service confirmation records and local device confirmation have different purposes; local confirmation is not a verified website identity.

5. Subscription prices, renewals, cancellation and refunds

New-customer Premium prices are USD 29.99 per month or USD 299 per year, according to the plan you select. The subscription automatically renews and charges the disclosed amount for the selected period until you cancel. Any applicable tax must be disclosed before payment. Broker and market-data fees are separate. Existing subscriptions retain their existing price, billing period and agreed conditions; this launch does not change them. The applicable price, billing period, taxes and renewal terms must be clearly displayed before you enter billing information and authorize recurring charges. Subscriptions automatically renew for the disclosed period until cancelled. Test payments do not collect money. Free DEMO/Paper access is not a paid trial that automatically starts billing.

Use the account's billing management to stop future renewals. Contact contact@optiontrigger.com if you cannot access it. Uninstalling software, removing a chart, deleting a local plan, declining updated terms or requesting account deletion does not by itself stop recurring billing. Cancellation normally preserves access for the already paid period; a refund, dispute or entitlement change can affect subsequent licensing. Expired, revoked or incompatible access can prevent new exposure; always verify existing risk directly with your broker.

Monthly purchases have no partial-month refund. You may request a full refund of your first annual purchase within seven days of that purchase; afterward there is no refund for remaining months. Existing-service purchases retain their separately agreed refund terms. Applicable statutory refunds, remedies and non-waivable rights remain available. Request a refund through the contact email. We will communicate changes to an existing subscription price at least thirty days before they take effect and provide other notices required by applicable law. No recurring charge will be authorized solely by accepting these Terms.

6. Third-party integrations

TradingView, IBKR, Stripe and other providers operate under their own terms, fees, privacy practices and availability. OptionTrigger is not affiliated with or endorsed by TradingView or IBKR. Chrome integration injects code into the chart application. TradingView Desktop integration uses a separate managed copy. TradingView’s published terms restrict its content to display use and prohibit using it for automated trading or related third-party products unless separately authorized. OptionTrigger has not obtained written permission covering the current integration and commercial use. Do not use that integration for automated trading unless the necessary rights have been established. Accepting these Terms or paying for software does not supply third-party permission. Account action, compatibility breaks and support risks also exist. See https://www.tradingview.com/policies/.

Never bypass account-mode, recovery, UNKNOWN-order, market-data freshness, quantity or budget checks. If an order or execution is uncertain, inspect actual orders and positions in the broker's interface. A software update or distribution signature does not establish freedom from defects or ensure continuous protection.

7. License and acceptable use

A valid release and entitlement permit personal use of the software within the supported scope. Do not redistribute paid access, sell or sublicense the software without permission, impersonate another user, remove attribution, interfere with the service, disclose credentials or attempt unauthorized access to another account or device. These restrictions preserve rights that applicable law does not allow a contract to exclude.

The operator and relevant licensors retain their rights in the software and supplied content. Rights in third-party software and your own data remain with their respective holders. These Terms do not convey broker permissions, market-data redistribution rights or ownership of third-party trademarks.

8. Privacy and support

The separate Privacy Policy describes account, billing, device, confirmation, infrastructure and support information and the normal local handling of trading records. Optional analytics require a separate choice and are not a condition of accepting these Terms. The privacy/support contact is contact@optiontrigger.com. Send redacted diagnostics and the app version when useful; do not send broker passwords, device private keys or full payment-card details.

9. Software limits, risk and mandatory rights

Software and third-party data can have defects, delays, interruptions, security incidents or compatibility failures. Trigger prices, stop losses, scheduled exits and maximum-loss settings are not guaranteed fills, execution prices or limits on loss. Read the separate Risk Disclosure and your broker's disclosures before using options or automation.

The software is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty promises uninterrupted, error-free or profitable operation or universal compatibility. Any exclusion of implied warranties or indirect/consequential damages applies only where the law permits it. Nothing excludes responsibility or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, and no acknowledgment requires you to give up all claims for losses. Trading decisions and monitoring remain your responsibility; this does not excuse unlawful conduct by the operator.

10. Changes, discontinuation and disputes

Material changes to terms or paid-service availability will be communicated before taking effect where required. Changes to the terms require explicit confirmation for the actions described above. Non-payment, fraud, unauthorized access or material misuse may lead to restricted access; operational and safety limits can also prevent use. Contact the operator to resolve account or billing problems. Required refunds and other statutory remedies are preserved if paid service cannot be supplied.

Contact contact@optiontrigger.com first to seek a practical resolution of a dispute. Applicable law and the courts with lawful jurisdiction determine any unresolved dispute. This release does not impose a new mandatory arbitration clause, class-action waiver or invented jurisdiction connection. Nothing prevents a complaint to a regulator, a lawful court claim or use of non-waivable consumer protections. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
